    Yes.

    I forsake my own interests, hobbies, friends, work and family, to be with my partner. I prioritize their relationships, meeting their friends, take up their hobbies and interests, and spend all my time in their life rather than keep a healthy part of myself.

    That is why I don’t date.

      I appreciate your response because, despite the fact that it’s important to love your partner and want to be around them, I absolutely hate how normalized codependence is.

      If you’re in a relationship, you are one of two people, not one entity. Nobody will “complete” you, only you can do that for yourself, and it is not healthy to expect that from anyone.
