Oh I was saying the opposite: what’s the third party software you’re using on Windows? I thought originally you were stating you were using third party on Linux.

This is as dumb as people ‘marinating’ diet coke by leaving it in the fridge. Can’t level with this level of absurdity.
I completely agree. My game go to for this is Tarkov. Audio is so crucial in that game and I could not name the amount of times I could place exactly where someone was approaching from. Can’t say the same since I switched to the Steelseries. This convo is making me want to go buy another Sennheiser lmfao.
To add to this: I currently have the Arctis Pro pictured and while the battery swap system is great, that’s the only thing I see going for it. From an audio quality perspective Sennheiser blows it out of the water. Honestly wish I had gotten another one instead of going Steelseries. Especially for the pricetag they’re charging. Audio quality bass-wise is just not there.
Are you specifically talking about Linux? Because I’d loooooove to run mine with third party. Hate Steelseries’ bloatware equalizer. Currently Windows.
I miss bacon reader =[
Yeah well the crossover was a pretty fucking stupid idea to begin with.
Could be depression linked to social media addiction. Depends on the amount of screentime, and don’t take what I’m saying as actual advice. But if you want to try something, try cutting down your screentime and see if it alleviates it. Could be burnout from work as well. I’ve had several bouts of light depression to where EVERYTHING seems like a chore to do just because my job is so damn demanding.
Okay great! Good to know, thanks!
On corp side and personal if you don’t have One Drive setup MS will spam notifications to set it up, and when you go to save will try to default to One Drive as opposed to local.
Appreciate it! Thank you!
Okay awesome thank you!
Yeah not really into multiplayer competitive games. Indo play a lot of co op though. Will have to find a list somewhere.
Oh God I didn’t even think about monitors. I only have one but it’s the stupid big ultra wide by Samsung. I honestly play most games in windowed. Wondering if there’s resolution support on the actual os though. The rest is like…5120 x something.
Got me, haha. Thanks for the laugh.
Man the Linux propaganda is STRONG on Lemmy. I’ll say what I’ve said before: I use my computer for gaming, web browsing, and managing a media server for my family that hosts pictures and other things. If those 3 things can be done easily without issue on a Linux distro without having to fuck around with configs every time I want to do something, I’m all in. By what I’ve heard though it’s just not there yet. I am super happy Steam decided to go Linux for their Steamdeck though as I’ve heard thats helped make monumental strides the right direction. Trust me, I want to. Large part of it is I worked tech support for over a decade and having to troubleshoot my own shit is like the furthest thing I want to deal with haha
Please just slink into the shadows never to be heard from again. Besides him being a pile of shit I can’t stand that dudes fucking face.
Genital wart.
Wow that is so cool holy shit
Where would you acquire the items to make your own, namely the battery, and what’s the risk of killing myself trying this? Also would you be able to build in solar charging for this?
