Had few of my friend’s running streaming sites get their domains suspended without notice and their servers too which were hosted on njalla. i have been hearing around forums that they are no longer DMCA proof and comply with companies pretty easily too.
Yet most of the streaming sites use it.( yes i know streaming sites don’t host stuff on their own). there are only a few which can afford a paid cdn.
Not sure if people got it but it says : “you can get no info” in name servers. also the irony that njalla is the worst when it comes to hosting and domains
they are smart
try searching around videohelp forums
IVPN and mullvad are recommended but since they no longer allow port forwarding they are slow. There’s Private Internet Access which is no logs provider too
when i started out it was hard to find content about WEB-DL but once you know what to search about it’s pretty easy figuring things out. maybe people need a guide to it
bad bot
+1 for Mullvad
Sail the high seas, my friend
Try feddit.ch it’s hosted in switzerland and is good for privacy. it has 100% uptime too. also no need for an email to signup
I will try it ig. but i don’t think every feature would work in pirated software on linux. if it was windows it would be a whole different story lol
I will check it about. heard a few people use this with blender. Tho what i am mostly hearing is that paid tools are unmatched for making jewellery
Well my dad basically needs something to make his own custom designs as well as cut costs. He will be 3-D printing them using silver and gold since that is his primary business . We wont be 3-D printing at home tho. He has people who can do it if we have the design in .stl format with much better accuracy. Ofcourse setting the dimensions would also be a problem i think in blender. he says he will be designing earrings and pendants, nose rings etc whose designs we buy from other people. I searched around a bit and found that rhino would be more suitable but it’s paid plus proprietary and there’s no guarantee it will run on linux with wine
I did not find any tutorials where people use librecad for jewellery but i will check out if it’s suitable for jewellery designing. since it’s 2D i am not very sure
He can’t master basic touchpad on laptop and needs to use a mouse lol. And english is not his first language so he has difficulty understanding them. I can’t design it for him but since i am preparing for competitive exams. Most of the stuff seems easy enough to me bcuz i was exposed to tech from the time i was 12 years old. Also the people at youtube explain things a bit fast and use shortcuts which are hard for my father to follow. Do you have any suggestion for learning how to use linux based desktops and how things work around(not command line stuff) maybe that will help him
Haven’t i searched it up and it is mainly used for vector graphics. and very few things about jewellery came up when i searched. Blender had tons of tutorials. What my dad wants is something to design silver and gold jewellery.
