Oh bother!
AAAAA
Oh bother!
The state of everything is so fucked for my brain to even go this direction… But your comment made me think the following:
Well, in their (the conservative’s) heads, yes. A dead kid isn’t one that will grow up and eventually vote against them and their hateful ideologies after being around the same things that conservatives demonize.
Edit: Not implying that conservatives want children dead. (That is clearly not the case given their stance on contraception and women’s reproductive rights.) But, that they don’t care about kids dying to gun’s, because “MUh 2nD amendmEnT RigHTS shAn’t be INFRIngeD uPoN”, and that they view children that have attended these drag events as having been indoctrinated and mentally harmed/abused. That scares them more.
The reason you’re utilizing edge is valid, but why not use Firefox?
The town I am located in had this same issue and saw it happening to an extreme elsewhere in the country. So they implemented restrictions on how many Vrbo and Airbnb’s a person can have active at once.
It unfortunately didn’t take affect retroactively, but it was immediate. Which was really funny to see as some recent purchases and renovations were suddenly put on the market again after the city pulled the rug from under them.
As I understand it, you can purchase whatever you want, but to Vrbo, Airbnb, etc, you must register the property with the city as a non-permanent residence, of which, there is a limit of one per organization or individual within city limits.
Totally cheesable, as one could be in a spouse’s, or dog’s name or some other rich people crap. And again, not retroactive, which sucks as housing is still a nightmare here.
So my advice. Get a petition going with a similar solution put together. Get into some city council meetings. Get vocal. Make some cool posters.
This solution won’t target tourists, and may take longer. But in my mind, it will target the real problem.
Secret Invasion COD? Cool.
The world doesn’t deserve you. Go, continue being excellent!
Blue jorts, knee-high orange socks, and large red converse are also required
I believe this group could be bigger than some may think. I, and the team I work with, work with for loops similar to these on a regular basis. And only one of us has a bachelor’s degree in math. The rest of us don’t really understand the math unless it is applied.
Apologies, it was a link to a reply further down in this thread by TWeaK@lemm.ee that is as follows:
Empress is pretty much the only person who cracks Denuvo DRM - the only other person who publicly releases cracks only does it for Football Manager games. However, Empress is just a little unhinged, as this post demonstrates.
There was an r/HobbyDrama reddit post that covers much of the history: https://www.reddit.com/r/HobbyDrama/comments/rowk83/digital_piracy_the_rise_of_empress_how_one_woman/
It’s somewhat well know that he is very abrasive in public with fans that solicit him. I believe that is what is being referred to in this context. I am unaware of any additional “ass-hole-afications” he possesses though.
Occasionally, after seeing something in the news regarding Reddit, I will use libreddit.kavin.rocks to see if that news, or any other negative press is anywhere on r/all.
Most recently was about them removing rewards and coins, and prior to that was code in the app that appears to allude to a cash for karma reward system.
It requires a lot of storage space. Much more than for just text.
Also, additional liability for hosting images uploaded by literally anyone, that could depict abuse, or be copyrighted.
Every now and then, GitHub Copilot saves me a few seconds suggesting some very basic solution that I am usually in the midst of creating. Is it worth the investment? No, at least not yet. It hasn’t once “beaten” me or offered an improved solution. It (more frequently than not) requires the developer to understand and modify what it proposes for its suggestions to be useful. Is is a useful tool? Sure, just not worth the price yet, and obviously not perfect. But, where I’m working is testing it out, so I’ll keep utilizing it.
