You should have the right to believe and worship whatever you want, but this attitude of “oh if the world ends it’s God’s plan” is so fucking shitty. Holy fuck I used to play this on school computers during lunch. When I played it was pretty easy to end up in active games, but I’m not sure how that’s changed over time. I really should reinstall it for nostalgia’s sake.

If I remember right she did a video about trans healthcare and kept referring to a shitty study that was either disproved or had some other issue that made it mostly dismissed by mainstream psychology. She is a physicist not a psychologist and she’s even criticized people for speaking outside their field at one point, then she made a video blowing the risks of transition for trans people way out of proportion. She also just didn’t use or didn’t know about multiple studies showing transition is an effective and accepted treatment for gender dysphoria, basically disagreeing with the general consensus on the effectiveness of transition. I don’t recall all the details but it was at that point I just stopped paying attention to her stuff. I think she’s also been criticized for kinda shitting on niche studies as “for funsies” projects because the existing science disagrees with the hypothesis, which is no reason to not try something. Like string theory and stuff like that.

I do hope they look into it. I just know how freaked out my pets have been in the past, inconsolable at times, so the fireworks being a real factor wouldn’t surprise me. I’d hope they would have meds to help calm the animals, but I wonder if they were too young for them, or had a dosage issue.

I had a whole thing earlier but was mistaken, the baby was 3 months old not a newborn. Either way, I still don’t doubt that fireworks could easily stress out a very young animal and be the tipping point of their health.

I’m not sure what could motivate them to make a grand conspiracy against fireworks, rather than the more likely result of them being exhausted and frustrated caretakers who, like any pet owner, probably spent that evening trying to calm the panda down only to watch it panic until it died. Stress vomiting isn’t really rare for animals on the 4th of July. It’s just the extreme end of stress.

None of these people “make” anything. They get paid millions to tell other people to make things. Overpaid. If you can’t grasp that, I don’t think I can help you. He gets no extra credit from me for being an overpaid manager, who is also a piece of shit human being.

Sure a CEO does other shit. It’s all the same stuff a manager would do. You really think that if daddy Musk vanished the literal rocket scientists working there wouldn’t be able to keep doing their work? The trained accountants and managerial staff would curl up under their desks unable to carry on? The value of a CEO is both real, and extremely overstated. They’d have a new CEO before the end of the month.

In a nutshell, yes he runs the company. No it isn’t some badge of genius, he manages a company. Many other people are just as, if not more qualified.

If he keeled over dead SpaceX would keep functioning as it is held up by the actual employees who do the actual work. All a CEO does is provide goals, directions, and demands for more profits. They’re a glorified overpaid manager and those are not in short supply.

I’ve been using it in beta a couple weeks now, it only saves like an hour with how I have it set up. It works pretty well, you can change the quality and stuff on exporting a clip, and it makes it easier to share dumb shit that just happened in my game to my friends I’m talking with. I like it :)

If the work was already done to make the episode I think it should still be included. The artists and animators for it shouldn’t suffer because the thing their story was based on flopped.
