There’s no legal requirement, just as there’s also no legal requirement for drivers not to park in cycle lanes (unless there’s also double yellow lines), which renders most non-segregated cycle lanes more dangerous to use than not.

Yeah, ‘decline’ would be a better choice of word there
It’s a project to build a database of things that can be used to determine your location in the absence of GPS. E.g. if you know the locations of some wireless access points that your laptop can see, you can make an educated guess as to where you are. BeaconDB is a user contributed database of this information, to rival the closed services offered by commercial companies (like Google and Apple).
BeaconDB attempts to do all of this in a privacy preserving way.
The antenna that comes with the heltec v3 isn’t very good, you can get much better range even with a cheap antenna. I got an ilabs one for £5 and can reach nodes a about 5km away (I am part way up a hill though)
If you’re using X, then the GTK equivalent environment variable is GDK_SCALE. (I don’t think the Wayland backend does this though)
E.g.
GDK_SCALE=2 gedit
This is why we need to promote more drastic action in terms of carbon offsetting. You can offset the impact of all the flights you’ve taken over your lifetime, plus those of your friends and family, by killing just one billionaire.

Also, don’t assume my position on industrialised society.

This is replacing agricultural fields. Solar panels allow for a drastic increase in biodiversity over crop monocultures. It’s an improvement on the metrics you care about as well as in energy production.
This time to feed its infinte hunger for energy.
UK electricity demand is down 20% since 2012, and continuing on a downward trend.
Changes away from more polluting energy sources to meet this reduced demand is a good thing.
Previously you got 10,000 free listings a month on private seller accounts, now it’s 300. Which is plenty for actual private sellers, but businesses operating as private sellers will have to start paying for their listings
And the 10% that is, probably shouldn’t be. The recycling process releases massive quantities of micro-plastics into our waterways, and from there into our soil, and so into our food.
Less cars makes public transport better, buses can run faster and to a more reliable schedule. It was cars clogging up roads that resulted in the decline of most tram systems.
