Wow, thanks for calling me stupid man, really appreciate it. Lemme know when/if you’re interested in having a civil conversation instead of spewing insults every other sentence.

And then asking the janitor why they’re a janitor instead of a cook. Like, if you don’t like videos that’s fine, but what is the point of commenting on one saying “god I hate videos.”
It’s especially funny that they said that everyone defaults to videos when, at least with Linux related stuff, thats definitely not the case. This guy is one of the few not terrible Linux content creators, there really aren’t many Linux dedicated content creators to begin with, so what’s the harm of this? Go read the arch wiki or a blog if that’s what you prefer, but don’t needlessly shit on a different format that others may prefer or enjoy.
I’ve heard countless times it’s one of the slowest package managers and the last time I tried opensuse it confirmed that, though that was a year ago, so I guess improvements have been made
It’s fast. That’s why it’s great. I’ve considered switching to opensuse a lot, but the speed of pacman compared to how slow zypper is always drags me back to arch
Also believe his (proprietary) software would brick switches if it detected other software, though don’t quote me on that.
Yeah and neither is paint.net
I’m a Linux nerd and even I don’t get this 😭
Honestly, I agree with you with that. YouTube pays creators a lot, technically we shouldn’t be removed about the presence ads, because it’s how they stay afloat, that’s just how it works. My main issue is the sheer amount of them nowadays. I used to gladly watch the ads, but it went from one or two before and after each video, to heaps of midrolls every couple minutes. It’s not the ads that annoy me, it’s the amount of them, which is the reason I use an ad blocker (which tbh applies to most of the Internet nowadays)
I always hear about people saying KDE breaks too easily. I’ve literally used it for years and I’ve never had serious issues outside of the Plasma 6 Beta for obv reasons. Like what are y’all doing to your DE?
