All that annoying nudity.
All that annoying nudity.
Yes. As a programmer, that always felt like it would be a syntax error.
“Kill it with fire!”
“NO YOU FOOL! You’ll only make it angrier!”
I think it goes a bit deeper than just ease of assimilation. A big part of Paul’s ministry was the idea that only Jesus can provide salvation, which implies that following all the laws can not. At least that was my understanding based on what I remember reading.
I’m playing the VR version of Myst. Also recently played the The Room VR. I don’t generally play VR games (partly because they don’t seem appealing to me, and partly because I can get nauseous surprisingly fast), but I really liked these. Looking forward to Riven next.
I haven’t played this yet, so I don’t know anything about what difficulty settings it may or may not have But in general, I see difficulty settings as an accessibility feature.
I liked the way that Ender Magnolia did it, where, at a save point, you could adjust several settings to customize the difficulty. I was able to temporarily make it slightly easier just for a few bosses that I lost my patience for.
If you’re looking for scary games, Song of Horror was one of the more unnerving ones for me.
(On my wishlist for years)
Well now I don’t feel like playing it.
I haven’t seen anything about it, but I wasn’t following the story either.
“I have $35”
“Good enough”
An when you dare to mention Linux because you think they’d have a better experience and you want to share your love of free software they act like you’re attacking them personally.
I only recently decided to switch. The biggest reason for me was setting up Windows 11 on other people’s laptops and seeing just how hard Microsoft pushes you to make an account, as well as the occasional ads I’ve seen. So with Windows 10’s end of life, I decided I don’t want to put up with that BS anymore. I still have Win10 as a back up if I need it for anything.
I’ve been playing Virgo too. Surprisingly enjoyable for a game where literally all of the enemies are more likeable than the main character, but it’s also one of the few games that made me want to follow through on a second playthrough to get a different ending. Also I like the music.
Why haven’t scientists ever launched a coordinated effort to systematically execute all the oil executives who were primarily responsible for the whole climate change denial stuff to begin with? They should’ve done it decades ago.
I’ve teared up for some. In Sound Mind made me think of my cat who was recently deceased and was more special to me than any of the other pets I had. And then there was the ending for Outer Wilds, and the… fuckin’ everything in Ori and the Blind Forest.
I used to like reading the medium - long stories on the malicious complience subreddit. !maliciouscompliance@lemmy.world just never really took off here.
What the hell are they all shooting at?
And look look at this asshole… He’s not even pretending to be aiming:
My company (small, < 50 people) basically did an informal survey and then CEO said that working from home is here to stay, with the option to work in the office whenever we want (and some do).
I guess that because the interior isn’t a vacuum, the slow-moving air molecules were able to dissipate heat.
I might be weird, but I often just have leftovers. Or sometimes I’ll throw a frozen pizza in the oven, maybe have some salad, whatever.
