I had some sound bars and wasn’t satisfied, so I put together a little system for tv and music. Micca OoO bookshelf speakers laid horizontally. Arylic B50. It has hdmi so you can arc control it with your tv and has sub out. Also a dsp that you can tune with a phone app. Theater Solutions SUB8S low profile sub that you can hide behind a couch or under an entertainment center. All Amazon stuff. Decent bookshelves, powered sub, and small receiver will sound better than plastic sound bars.

I suggest trying it out, it’s fun and the plugins and DAWs are like cool toys. I don’t record my guitar work, but make ambient songs and whatever else I want to experiment with like beats and effects. You can get started with free/cheap versions of the software tools. I have published a few songs to streaming services and we’ll see how that goes.

I have considered creating VST effects for DAWs. I’m better at software than electronics and I have started doing music production so that would be a better fit for me.

Spotify has a central casting system where every Spotify instance talks to each other on the Wi-Fi. Tidal is not as communicative and just does direct streaming.

It doesn’t have the device streaming capabilities, but otherwise it is similar.
