I was just thinking I was feeling like shit and then stumbled upon this post. Curious…
Obligatory this hole is made for me mention
Or activities outside of the living quartets involving other beings.
Buy fairphone!
I believe for me it was disabling “allow screen tearing”
Imagine drawing something. Then hundreds of years later someone shares a picture of it (the fuck is a picture?) on something called the internet and they throw shade at your art work post mortem while some guy drawing squares with colors is considered an artist.
Obvious troll is obvious
I’d love Piefed support. I’ve been reading up on it and I’m ready to jump ship. Summit is my favourite fediverse app, it works and looks amazing. So that combo would be incredible.
Edit: we made it!
I watched all of it and I found it boring and frustrating 99% of the time…
This makes me think about the brave little toaster when they go outside and the lamp asks where the light switch is on the sun.
It’s over Anakin, I have the high ground! Wait… Wrong community
And who decides what the “dealbreakers” are? The majority of society? God? Some king? Santa Claus?
Good point. There’s plenty of examples (fictional or not) where ‘nice’ people were driven to ‘not nice’ things and vice versa. The fact we need laws indicate that maybe mostly people are maybe not nice? Since if we’d be considerate we wouldn’t need those laws (in general)? It seems most people seem to think ‘being nice’ is doing things the majority of people deem as a good thing to do.
That’s an interesting point. People can be nice to certain groups of people I guess. Maybe no one can be nice to everyone.
I like this as a thought experiment: Lemmy, at what point does someone stop being nice? And is there a difference between acting or being nice?
The application of a balancing shaft (or not) is not something I’d classify as something development depends on but that could be a difference in opinion.
Of course we’re at least halfway over the s curve for development of the ICE. And while electric is waiting for a breakthrough in energy storage I still believe there’s a lot to be gained with ICE as well. Besides, the emotion and feeling of an ICE can be emulated but not replaced. F1 is of course about innovation but most of all “just” a sport and for fun. You don’t see football (soccer?) be about innovation. Or basketball for that matter.
Can you elaborate? ICE development is not linked to the number of cylinders I think. I wouldn’t see how it is I mean. And the V6 they use now is vastly different than the V10 of before. Mazda even developed a new way of combustion so I’d hardly say there’s no optimisation or application.
GrapheneOS has had this feature. Unlocking after a reboot is only possible with PIN. Also the RAM is wiped. This increases security and lowers the risk of attackers gaining access. Be it physically or not.
I think undercover was the last true NFS. Fast cars. High speed feeling. Tuning. Cops. Over the top grippy handling at times. Then it turned into cow dung with occasional decent ones but they never got the sense of speed or the fun worlds right for me again.
