Actually I’ve installed Slackware since 2002.
Same age as I was in Dead or Alive on the PS1: 99

If I go distro->religion then I guess I’m Orthodox.
If I go religion->distro then I guess I need to start using a TI graphing calculator.

I’ll stick with Slackware for the foreseeable future… But if I jumped ship now, it’d probably be to Haiku. Maybe dual-booted with AROS for shits and giggles. And plan9 on my servers.
Nah, ours had an actual safety pin

What if the t-rex was busty and in a bikini, and a giant woman was in the trees?
Poor dude has plantar fasciitis, he’s trying to stretch it.
Never tried Flatpak… I usually avoid Flatpak altogether. Multilib is usually just three commands from here http://www.slackware.com/~alien/multilib/ Then I just install my nvidia driver manually using the .run file after a kernel update before I startx (I’ve done it this way since 2002, never had issues).
Aside from that, I’ve never once had problems with games on Steam, or with Steam itself.
sudo sboinstall steam
We are indeed still alive.
Slackware, my beloved 🖤
It’s so cool how scientists named ravens after the primarch of the Raven Guard in 40k 😌

So he never stopped. Meaning he continues to do it.
I’m lovin’ it.
# I mean, Crystal does have a ternary operator, too...
bar = case something
in "aaa" then true
in "bbb" then false
end
foo = if bar
69
else
42
end
;; Or CASE or IF or COND or whatever
(let* ((bar (ecase (something)
(:aaa t)
(:bbb nil)))
(foo (if bar 69 42)))
)
Ahh, that finally makes sense!
I moved into an apartment once that left me some free cleaning supplies as some sort of “thank you” for moving in. The cleaner liquid said it was “gluten free”. I still can’t figure that one out.
I love it, it’s closer to Unix and is very KISS-oriented. I plan to use it until I die or can’t use Linux anymore because it died.
