This is why I ran Lune in party as a healer for 95% of the game. Layering healing pictos results in healing / revives that buffs the party too. If I couldnt survive that long enough to practice parries then I felt underleveled and would go explore elsewhere, upgrade weapons, etc.
Im not saying we shouldn’t pay off the loans or delay doing so. I’m saying that alone will not solve the problem. We must do both. I never hear discussion on that second part. Ignoring it is foolish.
And yes, the snails pace at which reform would occur is infuriating. It shouldn’t take 30 years because some asshats will continue to argue in the nature of “how dare we hurt these businesses?!” while people continue to suffer. It sucks that it likely will, but if we dont start now it will never happen instead of eventually.
The goverment paying off student loans is like bucketing water out of your boat and ignoring the hole. Like sure, its gonna keep some people afloat for a little longer but the issue hasn’t really been addressed, the problem is still there and the cycle remains a perpetual shit storm. The cost of education is preposterous, the people taking these loans dont have jobs to support paying it back, and most of them are too young to have the experience informing them of what a monumental undertaking paying it back will be. If they tried to get the same loan for a house or business they would be denied. There are so many issues to tackle but paying off the loans rewards the groups who created the problem in the first place. It incentivizes them to continue the foul play and prey upon vulnerable youth. Without some systematic reform accompanying the loan payoffs to ensure this doesn’t continue we will end up in the same situation over and over again.
It feels like a true sequel. So many sequels start you back at square one tutorial assuming you never played the first game. This seems to assume you did. If you didn’t beat Hollow Knight you probably are not ready for Silksong.

Old guy here. Can one of you explain why people replace random words with rule now? I assume this is a yonger gen thing cause no one around me does this. I can’t figure it out. There are lots of ways to block those signals. Paint is a dubious method. Look into Faraday cages. Tin or copper ceilings and roofs found in old homes have a tendency to do this. Thick concrete works pretty well too.
Here’s the thing - it will block all signals. Say goodbye to cell service. Make sure you have wired connections where you need them.

I will admit I had to fiddle with some settings to get it smooth on a few of these games. Par for the course on PC. One thing that I’ve turned off is actually that frame gen stuff - it makes my frames choppy. I think its weird because if I had a variable frame rate normally my gsync monitor handles that but with frame gen it seems to really fuck it up. Otherwise I always set to my monitor resolution and 100% scale, DLSS on, and crank everything to epic. Cant remember if Remnant had RTX but thats one thing I set to medium or low usually, that shit is a hog in almost every game.
Its what I drank for 20 years until I got some amazing coffee for my birthday one year. I just couldnt go back. If you’ve retired from military life and have the time to enjoy instead of rushing for ops it might be time to treat yourself.
Also, weigh it. Volumes change with different beans and grinds. Weights dont. Kitchen scales are cheap and easy.
I played Remnant 2 on my rtx 3080 and had no issues with it performance wise. I think I had one instance of getting stuck on world geometry but that was it really. Mostly in multiplayer too, played the whole thing with 2 friends.
I also had great experiences with Claire Obscur, Split Fiction, Tempest Rising, The Alters, and Talos Principle 2. All of them are UE5. I dont really like Epic or Tim Sweeney so I wouldnt normally defend them, but its more that I wouldnt be too quick to blame the engine when all these other devs can do it right.
He is a dick. This is one of the few occasions I would use throwables to whittle down his health as he approaches. If you’re really desperate put the gun arm on and get the upgrade to slowly regen legion so you can shoot him and run away, wait and repeat. Otherwise you got to really learn his telegraphs, so you can parry most of his stuff but just circle around his belly bust to get a couple swipes in the back. Anything with electric damage helps too of course.
