There’s no way to avoid the latter for large scale protests. Strikes are the most effective form of protest known to humanity and obviously cause some disruption. But on top of that, they could target oligarchs, say, by blockading their mansions.

The law has no inherent moral value. It requires at the very least democratic legitimacy to do so, and even that is subject to conditions.

His campaign are things that destroy the economy for the majority, not for the oligarchs that surround him. The oligarchs live off the labour of the many. Americans need to deny these oligarchs their labour.

Could still be worth trying. It might be politically difficult for Canada to deport that person if the person is framing it as opposition to Trump and Canadians are galvanized against Trump.
