  • This is an actual passage from one of the books I cribbed online (I refuse to read any of their pro-fascist books)

    It’s gay as fuck

Santor watched as Ferrus Manus stood nearly naked before him, his servants washing his iron hard flesh and applying oils before scraping him clean with razor edged knives. […]

‘I am your humble servant,’ said Santor.

Ferrus Manus waved away his armourers and moved to stand before Santor. Though Santor was tall for an Astartes and was clad in his full armour, the primarch still towered over him, his silver eyes shining and without pupils. Santor suppressed a shiver, for those eyes were like chips of napped flint, hard, unforgiving and sharp. The scent of lapping powder and oil was strong on his flesh, and Santor felt his soul open up beneath that gaze, his every weakness and imperfection laid bare.

‘You are much more than that to me, Santor,’ said Ferrus Manus, placing his hands on his equerry’s shoulder guards.

  • To stop being an elitist about music is probably the one thing that made me closer to inner peace and open to other humans

Same here. I work with the mentality that in every broad genre of music, there’s going to be something someone likes. It just takes a bit of open minded exploration to find it

I used to absolutely be one of those prick cracker types who would say “I listen to everything but rap and country”, make fun of those two genres etc, now country is one of my favourite genres and I’ve found my niche for rap as well

  • I kinda dig em but I know they’re not for everyone. I mostly like em for the vibes, Vedder is incomprehensible (even as a fan I understand him maybe half the time) but the noise hits the right spots for my autism

I’d probably recommend songs where Vedder is a bit clearer: Sirens, Elderly Woman Behind The Counter, Hard Sun (Vedder solo stuff from Into The Wild), Daughter, or Dissident. But honestly some bands just don’t click

I’m the same with Led Zeppelin. I respect the musicianship they have, and while on paper I should love them (and I love Greta Van Fleet who’re basically a Zeppelin cover band) but there’s something about Zeppelin that doesn’t click for me
