I did a ~60 hour playthrough and completed every quest I could find without a guide. I didn’t 100% the game or collect all of the possible loot, but I came fairly close. I enjoyed most things about the game, though I do wish more choices from previous games mattered. Anyway, here’s my rambling thoughts on it!
The combat is very different, but after a bit I really started to enjoy it (I did play as a mage, idk what the other classes feel like to play as I have not gone back for a replay yet).
As for the dialogue, it felt very Dragon Age to me, though I mostly choose the sarcastic options (purple Hawke is my favorite). I didn’t find it particularly bland, same with the voice acting. Sure, the dialogue writing isn’t Baldur’s Gate 3 good, but I didn’t think it was bad either. It really reminded me a lot of DA1, especially after jumping right into a DA1 play after I beat it.
There’s one kinda mediocre scene regarding one of the character’s queerness (pushups lol) but I didn’t hate it, and as a trans person myself, all of the queer focused scenes were very believable. People go “oh my god they’re beating us over the head with queerness”, which like, yeah they are, because that’s literally how it can go in real life with people who are refusing to acknowledge or accept your identity.
The amount of lore that gets revealed made going back to the first 3 really interesting (I did a fresh playthrough of each but didn’t quite finish Inquisition as I got distracted by Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous)!
It also might help that I romanced Solas in DAI several times, and really enjoyed getting more of him (even if he made me angry at him a lot in this one).
In their defense, 3.5 years before the next election is the time to start trying to push for better candidates. If we end up with “will slap you in the face” vs “will shoot you in the face” again though, voting for the slap is obviously the smarter move.
I’m disgusted by most of the current Democratic party, but they’re an order of magnitude less disgusting than literally any of the Republicans, so when it comes down to it, I’ll hold my nose and vote for the party that has a mathematical possibility of winning and is less gross.
For that, you’ll need to either have it behind a reverse proxy and port forward appropriately that way, or port forward directly to the IP address you’re using now.
Being able to manage it through a gui web interface is definitely nice. I love how simple it is to work with.
Is the IP address you’re trying to connect to correct? It’ll either be one assigned by Docker, or it’ll just the the IP address of your host machine.
On your Ubuntu host, type “ip addr” (no quotes) in the terminal and try that address. If you have not configured the Ubuntu host’s IP address to be statically assigned, or set up a DHCP reservation for that address you should do that as well so the address doesn’t change in the future.
The final zones for FF14 Endwalker and the most recent one Dawntrail had me sobbing (endwalker more so, but both did it).
Baldur’s Gate 3 had a few moments as well.
Dragon Age: the Veilguard did as well, as did parts of DA2 and DAI on my most recent playthroughs.
There’s probably a couple more but I can’t think of them right now!
I had written them off after all the recalls, but I did some research and I’m actually buying one! I’m waiting for it to arrive at my local dealership, and then I’ll be finalizing the purchase, so hopefully next week!
It isn’t uncommon, but the majority of people live in or near the town/city they grew up in. I currently live over 1000 miles (1600km) from where I grew up. https://www.northamerican.com/infographics/where-they-grew-up
I’ve got an older (2006) Accord. I like it, but it’s 19 years old with 260k miles, and it’s just starting to have some rust issues. It’s getting to the point where repairs are almost not worth the cost. An electric Fit (or similar) might be enough for me to shell out for a new car instead of another 10+ year old car.
25 is when brain development development stops is a myth. https://www.sciencefocus.com/comment/brain-myth-25-development
Edit: rephrased
It’s your body and your life, do what you feel is right for yourself. If you’re fully aware of the risks and consequences, and you feel it is the right thing for you, then you should do it. Bodily autonomy is important, and personal medical decisions are between you and your doctor.
Did they ever lift the “don’t park near structures” warning for those? I was considering one around the time they issued it, and have been hesitant on them since.
The ticket is the cheap part ($8-20, give or take). It’s like $20 for some popcorn and a drink, much more if you get something more substantial.
What does “doing well” mean for you? Because I was technically keeping up and completing my tasks at work (no complaints from management, standard raises, generally well liked, etc) but it was a constant struggle and I’d been burnt out for like a year while only being 2 years into the job.
I had 0 motivation or energy to maintain my life outside of work, I’d just go home and play video games until I went to bed, usually an hour or 2 later than I should have. My living space was a disaster (it’s still a mess but I’ve slowly been improving it since meds started last year, I donated 4 garbage bags full of old clothes this weekend!) and I simply couldn’t bring myself to do anything about it because I was stuck figuring out how to start and massively overwhelmed by it.
Now, about a year on meds, I’m able to be more proactive instead of mostly reactive at work. I’m slowly reorganizing both my living space at home and my office ar work (there’s a lot to go through!). I’m getting into more creative hobbies again like 3d printing using my almost 3 years neglected printer (and designing my own models to print!) and some small electronics projects!
Basically, if everything is a struggle to get through, even if you’re technically doing what you need to be, your psych should be receptive to trying meds. If they’re not, finding someone else who will take your struggles and concerns seriously is probably a good idea!
Seriously! Give me a Honda Fit sized electric hatchback that uses a modern charging standard (so not the Leaf).
That’s basically where I’m at, though I did get the ADHD diagnosis and medication has been life changing.
Surely that’d make it expensive! It’s in high demand!
I was fully unaware of the tab swiping feature on android, and I’ve been using firefox forever. That’s so useful, oh my god.
It makes me think of Enterprise, where they don’t have replicators but they do have protein resequencers, which can take waste matter and convert it into useful things, but they can’t do energy to matter conversion yet.
