Yeah, I’ve replayed TQ1 and Grim dawn numerous times so by trying out different builds I can probably get 15-20 hours from this version alone.
I simply reject your view. If a game is on PS5 it’s a PS5 game.
This is still very early in consoles lifespan.
Wii sold plenty of consoles but ended up being disapointment to many due to lack of hardcore games and lackluster sales on 3rd party titles.
It’ll be interesting to see how the sales will progress in long term. To satisfy shareholders Nintendo needs to capture a lot more audience than hardcore fans and tech enthuiasts.
Ps5 has the same amount of games as switch 2
Playstation 5 has plenty of good games but only handful of exclusives. Many of these games are also available for PS4 and PC as well.
Would guess this is more or less similar to PS5 with backwards compatibility with PS4, PS5 games. PS5 pro didnt really do a big splash so PS6 give bigger uprgrade for those looking for one.
Making those game libraries accessible on portable device would also be quite impressive. (Not quite Steam deck level but still.)
Many still play on Playstation 4 and suprising amount of games still get released for both.
Its also funny that in Fighting game locals most games are still played on PS4 with Tekken 8 being pretty much the only one requiring PS5.
Bought it as the EA price was cheap enough to take a chance and early reviews where positive enough to signal that the game isnt completely broken.
Got maybe hour in this morning and had fun. Game performed pretty well with RTX 3070 albeit dropped settings to high to get framerate to around 80-100 with 1080p.
Bought the PS5 version at launch which is something I dont do with many games. Been fairly happy with the game but it does look a lot like Capcom is moving quickly towards enshittification with this much monetization.
The game is no world, but I do like it a lot more that Rise. There’s a lot more to explore, endemic life is more rich and combat feels more weighty.
Might give rise another go on pc later tough. Got bored with it on Switch near the end of high rank base game.
Oddly enough world base game felt fairly long. Took me quite a while to get to the high rank and even longer to get to the final boss.
Honestly lack of automatic traversal and bunch of busywork made it a lot more easier to get distracted and explore. Lack of artian weapons made it more rewarding to farm weapons made from different monsters.
Maybe the game just got too streamlined with Rise and wilds. Focus shifted too much towards making fights more of a spectacle and add in bunch of unnecessary narrative.
What makes this even more funny is that Android is more open than iOS or any of the gaming consoles out there.
Still good to see these anti competive practices come to light.
Could this be just clever editing? Does it need to be even 3 minutes of missing footage if you just cut entry and exit of some individual and replace them with fake or repeat frames.
Whole missing minute thing could be distraction.
One does not even need to review bomb as a single update can easily ruin a game. After that it’s no longer comparable to the game one was playing for possibly thousands of hours.
Have to relate to this somewhat, it’s hard to find time or interest to practice fighting games with all the accumulated responsibilities of being responsible adult and a parent. While boomer reaction time checks are one thing, the bigger problem is having to practice against multiple different matchups in 3-4 different games. Probably should play these online a lot more, currently mostly playing on locals few hours once a week.
Oma vähimmäistoiveeni on tämän suhteen se, että harrastelijat yms. saisivat ihan lain nimissä vapauden korjata näitä pelejä vaikka toteuttamalla oman palvelinratkaisun tai offline-fixin näille peleille. Tietysti tämän vapauden pitäisi sisältää myös oikeus jakaa näitä korjauksia julkisesti.
Menisi mielestäni aika hyvin yhteen Euroopan ns. right-to-repair direktiivin kanssa.
Bought Baldurs gate: Dark alliance from g.o.g and playing that. A bit expensive for its age and its a direct port but at least no need to emulate it.
those who are into Pokemon, for the extra frame rate
Not just Pokemon, I am sure there are many who where hoping for Switch Pro before Nintendo crushed their hopes and dreams with Switch OLED. People have been testing Switch 1 games on Switch 2 and most of them seem to run on very stable frame-rate on Switch even without an upgrade pack.
This will lead to stronger console sales but not necessarily to game sales at least not in the short run.
A lot of players and local venues prefer PS4, PS5 and PC for fighting games. If you have licensed PS4/PS5 arcade stick it should work on all three of these platforms. Unlicensed ones might not work with PS5 games. Switch is mostly just for melee.
That being said game key-cards seem largely inferior to physical versions on other platforms even if you likely have to patch most games these days anyways.
Switch 2 had a wider selection, with 13 physical games available at launch.
Many gamers do not count game key-cards as physical games. Just another version of code in a box. Cyberpunk is probably only actual physical 3rd party release on switch.
For my understanding its up to Valve to handle support for Windows unless you mean releasing games on steam. Attempts to block Steam would probably violate anti-trust laws and cause massive PR backlash.
