  • I would not have Ellie kill Abby. I’d keep the ending the same but have Abby be the one with the upper hand at the end of the fight, then she decides not to kill Ellie. It makes more sense to me that Abby would see that killing Ellie will just perpetuate the murder cycle, as Abby did when she killed Joel. That’s something Ellie can’t admit to herself because she lets her anger guide her actions, even when it hurts her friends and loved ones. By letting Ellie go you are robbing Ellie of her vengeance, making her sacrifices pointless, which would hopefully show her that her violent ways only lead to violent ends for her and everyone around her.

I feel like that would be a better ending because Abby seemed more like the hero of the story than Ellie did. Ellie is definitely the villain to me because at a certain point in the game I stopped sympathizing with her. I think that is why Ellie having a change of heart at the end felt so off to me. We just helped her kill hundreds of people without shedding a tear. That person would not stop when they finally had their chance for revenge, especially with what it cost them to get there.

  • You might not have played the game but you are spot on. No other piece of media is as guilty of this as TLOU2. Ellie literally travels hundreds of miles and kills hundreds of people on her path to revenge, then I’m supposed to believe she has some epiphany during the final fight and she decides to not kill her target??? That target being the whole reason the game exists??? Totally ruined it for me.

  • My brother-in-law did this at my house the other day! My jaw almost hit the floor watching him try to kick that shit under the fridge. He did it in front of his son too. They didn’t seee behind them, so I bent over and picked up the cubes and told them we don’t do that in this house. I told my wife and she told her sister, they were both surprised. I had no idea people did this. Just pick them up and toss them in the sink.

  • I bought a refrigerator from Best Buy about 7 years ago and when it arrived it came with cockroaches. For days after the fridge was delivered I’d find dead roaches on the floor or see them scamper away when I turned on the light. So I bought a big bag of boric acid powder and lightly sprinkled that stuff around the kitchen floor leaving a nice thin dusty coat on the tile. After three days I vacuumed up the powder and I never saw another roach again.

  • I would not say it was garbage but it was definitely not good. By the 3rd Deadpool Wolverine fight I was totally checked out. We get it they can hack away at each other all day and never die. Funny stuff the first time. Even the 2nd time I smiled a bit. But by the time they were fighting in the car I was over it and exhausted. The cameos were fun but it was just fan service with no real purpose other than having a fun little cameo, which is fine in small doses but it was way overkill in this one.

I’d give it a 2 out of 5. I didn’t hate it but I’m not going to go out of my way to watch it ever again.

  • When I came home for summer break after my freshman year of college I had to use my mom’s car to get around. Well my mom is the absolute worst person when it comes to auto maintenance. The 3rd day I was home and driving her car her engine blew a piston rod because the piston ceased in the cylinder. Turns out my mom never changed the oil. Like never ever. But because it happened while I was driving it was all my fault. I “must have been racing or doing something that caused the problem”. 25 years later she still thinks it was something I did.

  • I’ve experienced multiple paranormal events in my life that I, or my family, were never able to explain. However I don’t think they were “ghosts” in a sense that they are spirits of the dead walking around my house. My best guess is that paranormal activity is just a phenomenon that occurs when thin spots in the space/time fabric show up and cause multiple realties to exist in the same spot simultaneously. So what you are seeing is other people, or even yourself, in another reality or time. Then similar to a bad TV signal you sometimes get a crystal clear picture with sound, and other times it’s all broken up and you have to interpret it through the static.

How do these things spots show up? No clue. But in a universe where black holes, and other similar things, are possible it is a lot more believable to me than ghosts or demons being the culprit.
