But why think of others or move your body unnecessarily when you could just buy a truck large enough to crush all other objects in the roadway?
How fitting, that content no one wrote, goes on to be content no one reads.
Great! Glad I could help spread the word.
You probably already saw, but they have a Lemmy Community for questions and discussions: !thunder_app@lemmy.world And if you’re so inclined, you could even contribute to the development of the app on their GitHub: https://github.com/thunder-app/thunder/
Some of these GIF hosts can be pretty obtuse. I was able to get at this GIF by going to the embed page and clicking/tapping the “copy link” button. In this case, the only difference in the two URLs was the file extension.
I switched from Sync to Thunder months ago (mostly for user tagging) and I don’t feel like I gave up much in exchange.
Google “metal movie poster (title-of-movie-here)” and you’ll find a bunch of online stores that sell images printed on some kind of metal, often with a graphic border for “a distressed/vintage look.”
I’m fairly certain these are the result of some script that grabs popular images, adds the border, and creates the listing. Also, the border probably helps them evade some reverse-image-searches performed by the actual artists/copyright holders.
I’ve got three, ranging between 8 and nearly 10 years old, with the oldest one seeing exponentially more use than the others, and they all still work flawlessly. I tend to put hundreds of hours into a handful of games, but I don’t use them every day, if that helps quantify my usage a bit.
No one’s telling you that you don’t have that choice… Just that over-indulging in that choice could lead to heart disease. What you find to be an acceptable level of risk is entirely up to you.
Shoutout to The Chats for helping to finally identify(?) Mr. Democracy Manifest.
Constrictive criticism and pointers is how we get better
Yeah, please. Why be deceptive? It serves no one.
Better yet, take responsibility for your own pleasure. Play an active role in getting what you want out of the act. Communicate. Why wouldn’t you?

Same for TV ads opposing our Amendment 4 in Florida. Just so much demonstrably false info. Early in the election ads ramp-up, there was one that actually showed the full text of the amendment on-screen, while making false claims about it in the voiceover.
They’re pandering to a base that does not care about facts, and who often will not even bother to read what is put in front of them.
Maybe 30 to 45 minutes in Merritt Island, Florida, back in 2004.
It was my first time voting, and I went with my parents after they were home from work, so it’s likely that that was the longest anyone there waited.
I’ve lived all over central Florida since, and have never had to wait at all, but that’s mostly because I do Early Voting or even Vote By Mail now.
Check out Crime Pays But Botany Doesn’t (aka Joey Santore, aka Tony Santoro). He’s been a vocal advocate for the “kill your lawn” / natural landscaping crowd for a while, and also I just really enjoy him.
He worked on/is working on a cable TV show called “Kill Your Lawn” too, but it’s not super widely available. You can find some episodes of that on YouTube as well.
Been a lot of “demon” talk from him lately. Tucker’s literally turning into Alex Jones before our very eyes.
I can’t be sure this was the primary use-case that the AI inventors envisioned, but it’s hard to argue that it’s not successful at this. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
There’s a reason the lyrics are “Some of those who work forces burn crosses.”
I think you dropped this:
