There is almost too much choice with Lemmy apps to make an easy decision. I mostly use Jerboa on Android. I prefer a free app, as in beer, and the interface is nice and clean. It also has a nice trade-off between the size of the text when looking at multiple posts in compact view and the size of the text when looking at a single post and the replies underneath it. Some of the other apps I tried the text size while changeable, can be either too big or too small for one or the other.

VCR nostalgia made me click. Nice cartoon. I added Bello Bear to my favorite Android RSS reader app where I prefer to read comics including xkcd and some others.
