Do they? I wasn’t actually sure. I thought the government was cracking down on anti-genocide speech.

On the one hand this is how it’s supposed to work. Free speech as a legal concept in the U.S. only protects you from the government…
…on the other hand it would be really helpful if there were a list of companies that were firing folks for being critical of Charlie Kirk…
…you know…for reasons…
TBH - that’s exactly why I added the quote when I posted the article. But I still think it’s fucked up with the full context; just not as fucked up.
I think a good shitpost should get a decent number of downvotes. I don’t take any issue with that. But removing a post that doesn’t break any rules just because you dont like it…especially in a shitposting community feels like a step too far.
Not sure if you’re joking or not. My bean post was deleted by a mod for “Not this shit again”.
I feel like that mod is not properly calibrated to mod a shitppost community
“For 33 hours, I was … I was praying that if this had to happen here, that it wouldn’t be one of us. That somebody drove from another state, somebody came from another country,” he said. “Sadly, that prayer was not answered the way I hoped for. Just because I thought it would make it easier on us if we could just say ‘Hey, we don’t do that here.’”
Now that you’ve had to admit, “Hey, we do do that here” what are you doing with that? Have you experienced any epiphanies?
Probably because A. NYPost and B. What’s the difference between “getting eyes on the baseless claims” and amplifying the baseless claims?
Before and after they tried to remove it only to further bolster the message
A Trump never pays his debts
It means Banksy, who has remained anonymous for more than 25 years, could finally be unmasked as he would be required to publicly disclose his name if brought to court.
Gonna be hard to bring them to court if you don’t even know their name, isn’t it?
“There is one person responsible for what happened here and that person is now in custody and will be charged soon and will be held accountable,” he adds
I’m totally expecting a fair trial now.
What a relief…
Also, there are a lot of people here legally that aren’t citizens.
The Democratic governor has publicly questioned whether the state has the authority to regulate federal law enforcement
My guy - you’re just the governor; not a judge. You don’t have to do the fascists’ job for them.
EDIT: I should read the whole comment before replying
Not really sure which part of “Lock her up” implied “…after due process and a conviction by a trial of her peers” so this shouldn’t really be too surprising.
I thought they’d already found the gun left behind?
EDIT: Oh! Were these photos before the shooting? I assumed they were from after.
I meant which charges that they could get a grand jury to indict on…
So where does the clampdown on anti-genocide speech land wrt this?
