Sometimes people fill the chimney with burning coals to make it heat up faster, you get a good breeze across the bottom, and you get funzies.

I’ve only done it a few times, but nitrous made me laugh so much, it was great. Nitrous starts fading as soon as you breathe out and is over in 10min tops, but for weed, give yourself an evening to get stoned for the first time. Feeling cramped for time is a huge vibe killer.

Also, modern weed can be way too strong for a first-timer, but if you can find a low-thc/high-cbd strain, you’ll have smooth sailing. My poor in-laws hadn’t smoked since the 60s, and the budtender sold them a thc vape, good times were not had. Don’t make their mistake, haha.

I don’t see a problem with multi-use zoning or living above your store, no. My town has an immigrant family that’s running a “department store” of various kinds of secondhand junk out of their barn, and they’re not the problem here. They’ve got everything from used clothing to tractor parts, and I’d much rather have stores like that than having to go to Tractor Supply.

The private vs personal is introducing vocab to make a difference between ‘walmart is private property’ and ‘my house is private property’. We’re proposing that it’s ‘walmart is private property’ and ‘my house is personal property’.

Part of the problem, I think, is that in common vernacular, ‘landlord’ also applies to people that are renting out a room of their personal house. The pro-landlord propaganda likes to hold them up as the gold standard we’re attacking.

We need to be clear that we’re absolutely not talking about the couple that’s renting out their kid’s old room to get through tough times. They’re also victims of the same system, being forced to sacrifice personal property at the altar of capitalism.

Growing up, we’d make sun tea, and I feel like that’d send a lot of tea drinkers running. In the morning, you’d take a gallon jar of water, a dozen teabags, bunch of sugar, and let it sit in the sun during the day, and drink it that evening.

Part of me is so done with humanity I feel like a lot of these kids deserve the consequence of being self-absorbed and undisciplined.

That’s understandable, considering the amount of propaganda that has always been generated about the kids these days. The best propaganda has a grain of truth in it, and preys on the fear that you’re being taken advantage of, that your efforts are for naught.

There will always be ignorant people, there will always be lazy freeloaders, there will always be room for improvement. If you feel this means some people do not deserve solidarity, you cannot expect others to stand with you, and this is how the left crumbles.

Depends on where you live. I grew up taking Oklahoma City public transit, and you could get mugged for pocket change at some of the bus stops. Now I’m in Washington and my area is pretty safe.

Not the person you were asking, but I got kicked out of youth group for saying evolution and the bible could co-exist. There’s that verse about how a thousand years is like a day for god, so clearly the 7 days of creation means evolution could have been god’s mechanism of creation, right?

The youth group leader just told me I was wrong and said I could leave if I wanted to disagree, so I left.

A few years after that, I quit the church for good because they didn’t want to help the community after a tornado because said community was full of demon worshipers (aka, catholics). It made me realize the bible was full of shit, because the pastor was able to believe that god somehow loves sinners, and but also we shouldn’t help sinners, because god wants them to suffer for not loving him back the right way? If heaven is full of those people, I really don’t want to go there.
