I’m still deep into He who fights with monsters by Shirtaloon. Need to pick up some pace though, when I want to finish my bingo on time. Still two entire books to go!

During the holidays with my family, my brother convinced me to give “He who fights with Monsters” by Shirtaloon a try. I’m currently about 30% deep into book one. It’s my first time reading LitRPG and even though I’m not quite sure about the genre I’m enjoying this one quite a lot.

Did something happen? Do I want to know?

Why not both?

It takes a lot of work, effort and willpower. The possibility of being rejected makes it really hard. But then again it feels so good to just be yourself and witnessing others love you for that instead of in spite of it. Journaling helped me a lot with appreciating those small victories and therefore sticking to it, and also finding out who I am in the first place. Over the years myself and my masks sort of blended into each other and I had a hard time being a real person.
