Silverhand might be a political adventurist that didn’t care at all about the means of achieving his goals and can occasionally be an asshole, but between him and V he’s usually much closer to the truth. It’s too often that he’s spitting straight up fire about mega corporations and capitalism and then V completely libs out on him telling him he’s extreme

To be fair though, I haven’t gotten to the ending you unlock after the DLC, so maybe that closure to the DLC storyline could be in that ending, don’t spoil me if so

All around though it’s an interesting premise and characters, and there’s some banger quotes by Silverhand

Open games can overwhelm me a lot, but if it’s done nicely and eases you in to all the details and options then it can be really fun. Satisfactory is a good example, I probably never had to open a wiki to read how to do something or what something was, the game does a great job of giving you more and more options progressively without giving you a headache

All it takes is for someone to be disappointed in something, and there are plenty of things to be disappointed about in capitalism, and to be politically and historically uneducated. When there’s no mental resistance to that propaganda, it’s as easy as seeing the same meme multiple times for someone to associate a thing they hate with something completely irrelevant, while ignoring the real systemic reasons that lead to that disappointment. After that it’s a slippery slope, dog whistles lead to actual ideology, and the ideology eventually leads to real life action as well. And in the end, some person will have been completely ruined because they disliked a stupid fucking videogame and couldn’t notice the real reasons.
