All it takes is for someone to be disappointed in something, and there are plenty of things to be disappointed about in capitalism, and to be politically and historically uneducated. When there’s no mental resistance to that propaganda, it’s as easy as seeing the same meme multiple times for someone to associate a thing they hate with something completely irrelevant, while ignoring the real systemic reasons that lead to that disappointment. After that it’s a slippery slope, dog whistles lead to actual ideology, and the ideology eventually leads to real life action as well. And in the end, some person will have been completely ruined because they disliked a stupid fucking videogame and couldn’t notice the real reasons.

Usually world war 3 has been a concept in my mind that is objectively bound to happen in my life but not something that I really worry about on a practical level. Now with “Israel” rapidly bombing Lebanon and taking a big W by taking out Nashrallah before the ground invasion, my country as long with pretty much every other NATO country being actively participant in the escalating wars, the complete lack of interest of most common people when it comes to the Middle East, I am really starting to picture world war 3 happening and the material effects and huge difficulties it will bring to my family, the impossible decisions I will have to make then.

Fuck NATO, fuck the imperialist core, and fuck all the apathetic everyday people that happily let all this happen in their name
