You’re unaware of the Rape of Africa, which has casualties in the tens of millions if not hundreds of millions depending on how far back you want to count?
That sounds about right for EU education.
France nearly invaded Burkino Faso when they took power back btw. So this isn’t history. At least a dozen African countries are still puppet colonies for European powers and are the sole reason for the EU’s wealth and status.

No. There is no evidence of a ‘Uyghur Genocide.’
Yes, I know what characterizes, fascism.
Cult of leadership, objectively, does not apply to China. Evidence, peer-reviewed and heavily scrutinized evidence, is required for someone to advance politically in China. You do not get ahead due to myths or who you blow; unlike the US for instance, where wealth objectively buys power.. This does lead to more competent leaders, of course, but that’s not a ‘cult of leadership’ as we see with US presidents or of course the Big H. We don’t say there’s a cult of leadership around Einstein, for a few obvious reasons.
Hyper-nationalism is also hilarious as a term written in English. Did you know, in communist China, your kids can be arrested if they do not pray to the flag and repeat the communist party’s attestation of loyalty to Xi Jinping‽ Oh. Oh wait. China does have national pride. They are responsible for the single greatest and fastest elimination of extreme poverty in world history. They are responsible for engineering feats that absolutely shadow the entirety of the West’s industrial golden age. There is more rail in China than the entirety of Both Americas, and all of Europe, and all of Russia, combined. And nearly all of it was built in the last 30 years. And all of it is affordable enough that the median worker can transit from Beijing to Xinjiang every work day, if they really wanted. That’d be New York to LA. That costs $3k in the US. Pride is not hypernationalism; but it can be confused for that if you happen to be an enemy of the western fascist hegemony.
The myth of national rebirth… as in they literally took power back from western colonial forces and an imperial dictatorship and created a people’s republic…? That would literally be a rebirth. I know you’re trying to echo Eco, but really this is just a poor point since it wasn’t a myth. It was the single largest popular revolution in world history.
State-directed capitalism, is weird name for socialism. I can link you a dozen books on how exactly the Chinese economy works if you get tired of random journalists with no economic background telling you randomly-strung together words.
So in short, no. It doesn’t ring a bell. I might update with more sources but honestly I’m bored at this point.
I hope you educate yourself further. It’s genuinely tough to be well informed in the west, what with the massive online censorship and complete misinformation from multi-trillion dollar propaganda campaigns, but it’s worth it, I promise.
