Neural Times is an AI-powered news site that autonomously selects topics, researches, writes, and publishes news. Drawing equal amounts of information from left, right, and center sources in each story, we aim to counteract political bias and polarization.
We don’t censor our site actually.
Thanks for your feedback, to clarify a few things
You cannot average nonsense and fact and expect the end result to be anything useful.
We are not averaging information. We are cross referencing facts, stating what sources on different ends of the political spectrum agree on, and the differences in the opinions they have.
I would also like to here why you think it is misinformation spam.
We characterize our sources with allsidesmedia.com to stay consistent. https://www.allsides.com/unbiased-balanced-news
@the_postminimalist The 6 sources as well as their bias rankings are at the bottom of each article.
@Chozo Thanks for pointing that out. It appears their was an extra entry for MNSBC in our database with the wrong bias ranking. It is now removed so that articles in the future will be generated with MNSBC as left.
@abraham_linksys MSNBC should be a left wing source, which article in particular is that?
@Chozo Haha some of the images can be a little weird sometimes. We first ask an AI to describe a visual image for the headline with words, then use that to generate the image.
The purpose of the site is not to replace journalists, rather aggregate information so that readers can see everyone’s opinion without individually looking at each source.
The idea is to show different perspectives on an issue as media can become quite polarized. Let people know all perspectives, and allow them to come to their own conclusions.
@theory Thank you! Definitely possible in the near future. A lot of people have recommended an RSS feed.
@Candelestine Thank you!
@atomicorange We use AllSidesMediaBiasChart
