Go to Meow Wolf in Houston!!! It’s immersive art- so think art museum that you can touch the walls and interact with the artwork. Their experience in Houston is called Radio Tave. Give yourself a good amount of time to explore an wear comfortable clothing/shoes. Meow Wolf does attempt to make their art installations accessible for all sizes, ages, and abilities- so if you visit while on crutches, on a walker, or in a wheelchair, both you and your dad should still have an enjoyable time! If you’re the one working then why would your SO be able to threaten to not pay bills? Maybe it’s time to change which account your paychecks are going to. Have you considered opening a separate account just for you? Or try taking your name (or theirs) off as many joint accounts as possible. Maybe freezing your credit so nothing else can be opened in your name (assuming you’re in the us)? Are you are legally married to them? If so filing for divorce might be another avenue to talk to a lawyer about. (Most lawyers don’t charge for the initial consultation).

Are there any domestic violence shelters in your vicinity? It truely sounds like you’re in an abusive relationship and being held hostage in your own home. It’s only a matter of time before the violence gradually increases, because nothing you will ever do will appease them long enough to change their minds on how to treat you. Can you record people in your state/country? The us has some states where only one party needs permission to record so giving yourself permission is fully acceptable to begin recording. There are also some apps that can record audio/video when the phone appears off and uploads the video onto the internet.

You do not have to answer any of these questions. This internet stranger is just worried for you and truly hopes you find a safe haven. Regardless of anything else, I’m proud of you for working so hard to better yourself and your circumstances!

I was a bit overwhelmed by all the non presidential questions the first time I voted. So now I research before and take my little paper list in with me so I don’t have to think/decide in that moment while at the poll.

It will likely scare them the first time as it’s new/unfamiliar, but they’ll begin to normalize it with repeated events (as long as there is no physical/situational aggressiveness toward them). Once they acclimate to the singing, they might still get a small jump scare if you begin abruptly belting out something, but as you continue the song they would likely relax back down recognizing it as not a danger. I find most pets will try to hide/runaway when they don’t like a sound, so indifference from a pet is akin to general acceptance of your presence imo.

They don’t care about the homeless so they don’t care that those poor people will still be homeless somewhere else. The rich just no longer have to see the unhoused -out of sight out of mind- as they say. Then since they’re now out of mind, they don’t have to fix or offer viable solutions for homelessness. The rich hope those poor people die as they’re deemed morally terrible people who are there directly because of their own failings. Plus it makes more slave labor available for today’s private prisons across the nation.

She talks about laughing on some podcast but I can’t remember which one. Anyway, she said that most comics don’t really haha/laugh out loud at great jokes, but will simply say that’s a great joke with approval. So being the host on tv she is having to train herself to laugh at loud at things. The show is scripted and the footage cut up post filming so some people/contestants are funnier but they couldn’t air it or their words were tempered by the writers/editors. While a simple solution for a popularity contest, it has great drawbacks when looking for techique comparison. Someone’s family may be bigger or louder than others, some people may have more fans in the audience, who can afford to attend will skew the vote, being an international event would mean that it’s likely the home team has the advantage as people from the host country have a greater opportunity to attend, some event crowds may be determined by time of day or by public transportation, and the audience may not see the whole (5 hour breakdancing) event and certainly won’t see the performers as well/as close as the judges would. Additionally the audience has so many new viewers during the Olympics that don’t know how hard certain moves/sequence of moves are while some easy flashy moves will wow a crowd every single time. None of those things show particularly compelling qualification to determine how technically good the performer/performance is.

It does kinda create the illusion of soapy bubble filled white water. If you change thinking about the ‘white water’ section to actually be the see through part in between clear round water droplets (the ‘bubbles’) that are clinging to the side of the container.

According to the lyrics, they aren’t exclusively complaining, they’re telling “good stories” about their not-so-great experience which is a different thing. Also, they never tried to be a ‘good guest’ at parties, merely that they were found to be ‘interesting at parties’ because of their ‘good stories’.
