If your solution had been chosen, it’s lobbying. If not, call corruption 😂
Don’t know App Manager. What is it? The report from Exodus Privacy is interesting: https://reports.exodus-privacy.eu.org/fr/reports/io.olvid.messenger/latest/
A matter of time, resources, knowledge, tools, energy, intels. With the ANSSI credit, good luck.
Servers are private, so we can conclude anything…
Indeed. However we can think the Olvid company, a private company, was very pushy to promote its product and made people think the other apps are worse. In fact it seems Olvid, compared to Signal, encrypt metadata and does not rely on contacts nor identity server. And because it’s a French app, “sovereignty matters” (even of ministers use Microsoft Office solutions 🤡)
Olvid is the only messaging application today certified by the ANSSI (the French security agency), I doubt this one will be hacked.
Why not using Firefox, Firefox Focus or Brave?
The disappearance of all these tech peacocks and web turkeys who focus on their number of followers and the quantity of talks rather than quality. The dev rel advocates made the atmosphere toxic
Feel free to share your feedback to the team behind the project, they are awesome 😄
So annoying. It is useless to bring gamification to open source projects. It won’t enhance quality nor bring reliable contributors. People should contribute to FLOSS projects without such things IMO.
I still don’t understand why Hacktoberfest get so much hype. I don’t even understand Hacktoberfest meanings. Is it to get shiny badges on GitHub accounts?
Very different OS 😂
Samsung 😭 In old days it was easy to flash ROM on old Galaxy. But now I find things more complicated and some devices are not supported. Maybe you should have a look on XDA website or LineageOS website for support.
Yep only the app was terminated, not the accounts. Could you say more about this thing of accounts linking and banned users? Not sure to understand 😥
Never tried on all the devices. And even if you read some nice tutorial you may face some issues because of OEM locks (on recovery or bootloaders).
Same point of view 🙃
