That’s what STO is, and to be fair you can do a lot solo last I checked. But it went f2p and suddenly it turned into a casino.

Star Trek. ST online started promising, but it turned into loot box gambling.

Well that will suck, because as soon as they do, the competitive online arena of MK8 Deluxe is going to dry up. That game has provided endless hours of entertainment for me. I hope they allow crossover of the multiplayer between the versions so there’s some good competition.

I built a new rig last year with a newer gen r5 cpu and a Radeon 7800xt. It’s more than I’ll ever need, just pretty neat to be able to max out settings. But honestly, I can hardly tell a difference. I would have probably been fine with a 7700xt. I was running a gtx960 for like 7 years or so without issue, you really don’t need the latest and greatest.

I played 1 and 2 on a cartridge when it was still called Dragon Warrior. Good games, I remember them fondly.

Idk, I guess if your goal in making a game is to have some beautiful scenery that’s also realistic, knock yourself out. But I love games that are focused on enjoyment first and foremost. The games I spend the most time on are really simple graphically.

That’s why I maintain that the Switch is the GOAT of systems, it’s just really fun. Shitty company that’s gotten worse over time, sure, but they don’t exactly take the crown and at least I get something enjoyable out of it.

So, when people say use a different system, do you just use a different rulebook for d&d or something?
