I was about to shutdown my fairly new arch install the only way I knew how, shutdown now
. But I forgot the now
part. Instead of retyping it and shutting down, I had the thought that I might aswell update the system first, so I did that.
Somewhere in the middle of generating a new initramfs the shutdown timer triggered and turned off the system… Had to try out snapper rollback in a real scenario a bit earlier than I anticipated.
You don’t pick your disabilities, and it could just as easily have been me instead. That’s why I have zero problems with my tax money helping people who can’t contribute as much. Hope you’re doing alright!
