Tofu dregs aren’t a well known dish because no one eats the crumbly side products of tofu production. Also ain’t it already kind of bigoted that you assume people view tofu as exotic when in most countries it is the most normal vegetarian/vegan product ever?

And how is it racist to use a term to describe the crumbly side product of tofu production? Seems like a stretch.

Also the term was coined by Chinese politician Zhu Rongji to describe a flimsy construction project.

Honestly, calling the use of the term by non-Chinese racist is just dishonest.

Because even in China they refer to it as tofu dreg and pretty daft of you to accuse a “mixed race” person (honestly, I hate the word but don’t know an alternative atm) of white fragility.
