Create flyers with your instance logo on the front, possibly url at the bottom and on the back along with play store and apple store lemmy app links.

Ideally, you’d hand them out or place them at business of which you’d like a certain type of user.

Easiest example. Say (Yea I know lemmy is anti religion just using for example purposes) you’re a Christian instance, you’d go to churches and ask if you can leave a stack or pass them out there.

You could do the same at bars, sex shops, or whatever type of audience you’re looking for.

Ideally the businesses would give you an ok to do that so you’re not soliciting.

    I would do it only if I was organizing the IRL community on the internet that I have direct involvement in.

    If there would be new IRL community that need a digital space, (theoritically) I would go around and talk to the lead (or be the lead) and crete a space for the people to use.
