Threatening letters are fine, just don’t get your fingerprints all over it, or hand write it.

Actually, a typewriter is a bad idea because it’s just like handwriting. If they find the typewriter, it can be compared easily.

I think you should use tiny rubber stamps that you completely dispose of afterwards so they cannot be found.

However, the pig’s blood is an excellent choice. If you mix a little alcohol in it, it will dry faster and not bleed into the paper

Still better than handwriting though especially if it’s a particularly old typewriter IE not a modern reproduction. Trying to track down replacement parts for old technology is a pain in the ass by itself let alone trying to figure out if someone has it, so long as they don’t get the initial leed it should be relatively safe regardless. Honestly you’d probably have a better shot looking up the paper type and which people bought it recently.

I say just buy the most common laser printer and the most common paper, then use gloves and be sure not to use your own outgoing mailbox!

                Fascinating. Thank you.

Edit: apparently monochrome might be okay, but that’s a good thing to be aware of.

Yeah, I was trying to see if black laser printers were included. I could see how it might be easier to just have it across all models, unless there is something that requires color.

Also, I thought some software (such as MS) added things to documents that showed up as identifiable when printed too, but I’m having a hard time tracking down that info…

I’m going to run a few prints on my mono laser and see if I can find any light grey.

Maybe they should just pick up a few magazines and do it classic kidnapper style 🤪

If you have an actual mailbox, which is uncommon at this point, you could flip that flag up to indicate there was a pickup.

But, if your mailboxes are consolidated in one spot there is usually an outgoing slot.

I would suggest not going to the post office either. Find one of those blue drop boxes somewhere discrete. Don’t drive up to it, park away back a walk… wearing a mask, and generic clothes like all black sweats and a hoodie with a mask. Wearing gloves!!! There are lots of opportunities for this to fail, so you have to be careful.
