I always thought of Xavier a little bit in terms of FDR and Stephen Hawking. He’s not a character defined by being white but if it isn’t an old white man in a wheelchair then it will probably feel like a different character to me.

But in the overall messaging of X-Men you don’t need the guy in charge of the outcasts to be an upper class white guy for it to work. They just need a wise backbone to build around.

also patrick stewart is pretty old, and very low energy, if you seen him in PICARD, he seems very tired in general. why not use macavoy again?

If it’s not an upper class white guy bankrolling the school and all the rebuilding it goes through then how will it be funded?

I’m assuming the Xavier family comes from old money that probably got rich from… Idk how do families get that much wealth?.. probably slavery or some other form of exploitation.

Only half joking about the question. Some good stories are from the X-Men when they don’t have the school and are on the run.

Funniest idea: it’s the body the Shi’ar made that can walk and do everything. They just didn’t realize that “whoops we made the skin too dark” might be a problem.

That’s great. They didn’t realize it would make a difference. They can say it all looks the same to them.
