Laurence Fishburne is pitching himself to play Professor Charles Xavier in the MCU's version of the X-Men: 'What do you think about Laurence Fishburne as Professor X?'
If he wants to do it, he’s a great pull to play Xavier.
I’m kind of tired of Xavier on the big screen, though. Stewart did an amazing job at sharing the key Xavier moments already.
There’s good reasons they always kill Xavier or send him to space, in the comics.
I think movie audiences are ready for some of the X-Men sagas that don’t have Xavier anywhere nearby.
Edit: But if they’re doing the Krakoan era, Fishborme is a great choice. They’ll have to lean into the controversial headlines though - Xavier is not a hero in that story. Fishborme would rock the part, anyway.
