title fun run yall should try it out went fanatic purifier traits for this species were kinda trash not really bad just not great wasn’t pumping out research but was able to snowball early enough off a couple neighbors and once i made the covenant with the end of the cycle it was gege just had to keep it up tho the maluses you get to stability and pop upkeep were a fuck to deal with but once that was over total smooth sailing crisis didn’t even pop

if any of yall try it out make sure to rush the first archaeology project in your capital sector, that will make the snowball a lot quicker cuz some of the covenant buffs you get are wild

    I really struggle to try anything that isn’t space communism in this game. They keep adding stuff that is basically different ways to run the game and I end up not doing it because I can’t bring myself not to be space communists.

    I even ideologically lock myself into roleplaying like “Yeah we could intervene in that civilisation because they’re fucking imperialists so fuck them, but this other civilisation is okay and we can take a diplomatic approach to them as long as they don’t get violent.”

      hehe i feel it, i usually play pacifist/isolationist empires and dick around with weird goals. but sometimes it’s fun to beat the breaks off the galaxy

      have you tried wilderness yet? sentient ecosphere is super cool to RP. also had tons of fun with tree of life idyllic bloom/empath hivemind; “you will be assimilated and your biosphere improved, please do not resist :)”

      Broken chains with worker coop megacorp or rational consensus is pretty fun. The first contact pack has some good content for playing as space communists. I also got nemesis so I could access more espionage trees to make the run more interesting.

      I feel u tho, there’s only so many ways to run the same build and I can’t really bring myself to do the whole god-empress of the galaxy thing anymore.

      Cosmogenesis was pretty fun as a crisis, I was the only democracy in the galaxy so I figured we’d skip town.
