TBF it’s more like they crush up a multi-vitamin and it’s basically a gatorade plus a tiny bit of multivitamin.

It’s not even that, really, coke (owners of the brand) has been sued and lost because of false and misleading advertising around the brand. It’s sugar water.

Yes! One of my fav ad law stories is how Coke argued in that case that “no reasonable person” would think vitamin water was healthy, so they should be off the hook for the claims they made!

I’m in a homeless shelter, so I use their bottles as a reusable bottle for at least a week. Better than Gatorade bottles due to general practicality. And some come with caffeine, which can be a nice boost day of.

And I’ll use store brand “crystal lite” to impart flavor / caffeine from time to time.

The bottles are very sturdy and even survive my dishwasher, although sometimes the rim/lid connection is a little wobbly afterwards. I don’t care, because at that point it’s only water, sunshine will dry it. If you just fill it with fresh water without washing, the water has a hint of the old flavor which can be nice too.

please don’t dishwash or expose single-use plastics to sunlight and then reuse them. There are legitimate reasons why you aren’t supposed to refill the cheapest types of plastic containers.

The filling and sterile-sealing process in the factory is just as bad, so we already drank a bunch of microplastics the first time. At my age I’m mostly plastics, insecticides, lead and asbestos. When the alien bug people come, feed me to them first, maybe they’ll die.
