Nobody can see my face most of the time anyway so I either don’t even touch the default appearance or I hit similar face until it’s the most disgusting thing possible and make my skin tone some bright neon color.

At least Elden Ring doesn’t severely punish you for not filling an armor slot like every other game does, so there’s a greater chance of not wearing any head piece unless the build can utilize one of the hats that buffs a stat.
