None of you will try to “correct me” when there’s slot machine jackpot graphics cascading in the trailer video showcasing more randomized (read: gambling) mechanics.
I agree, games and game platforms should have a “simulated gambling” tag for those whose urges to gamble are so uncontrollable that they engage in self destructive behavior from playing a one-time purchase game with RNG mechanics with no real money on the line with fancy graphics.
And this is unironically, by the way. Genuinely feel bad that some people cannot handle that type of mechanic and it should be accommodated. The Atlus style UIs used in the Persona and Metaphor series make my brain hurt and there’s no option to tone it down at all.
