Yeah I never got around playing anything like Wizardry, so im curious about the gerne. Amberland 2 is very much oldschool inspired but a tad cleaner/ more user friendly . You have fast travel and other things that make it more modern in some aspects.

Im gonna start playing Legends of Amberland 2 in a bit. Its a dungeon crawler inspired by classics such as Wizardry and Ultima. I actually never played any dungeon crawlers but this one came recommend by a friend since its on the easier and shorter side. Hope to break into the gerne (dungeon crawlers) with this game.

I heard the devs behind Amberland 2 are working on a 3rd game as well. So I hope that turns out good for them

Yeah when I think AAA I think Ubisoft games like Assassins Creed, Far Cry or Sony 3rd Person games like God of War or Last of US. Most of which aren´t MMOs or really lootbox games.

(Not saying there arent popular games with problematic gameplay systems one just needs to look at gacha games and many mobile games)

So I cant vouch for it myself since I havent played it yet but the reception has been stellar. General opinion seems this is the best update since the game released. There are still bugs etc but the actual new systems are excellent and exactly what the doctor ordered.

I wanna play the game in another 1-2 weeks but I have to admit I have no idea how it currently plays. Last time I knew how how to play Vicky 3 was back in like 1.4 and we are now on 1.9

Its gooood. I played through the campaign all the way back in 2016. It seems some folks struggle with the controls…as someone else said this is not a twinstick shooter it is more like tank controls. As soon as you get a grip on the controls it plays VERY nice though. I remember really enjoying the tanks in this and just playing armchair tank commander.

EDIT: I have to expand on this. The artstyle, with the music, the setting, the fully destructable environments. It all comes together and creates a beautiful package of chaos and mayhem.

I havent played on consoles since the PS3 era. I dont think this is gonna change anytime soon. I have everything I need and want on PC these days
