I legit dont think Platner is gonna be that bad compared to most other democrats which is why I dont agree with the Fetterman comparisons. Theres NOTHING stopping someone who is a utter piece of shit from being a socdem. Like he can be a bad human being but still support vaguely pro working class policies. In fact there are tons of vaguely socdem people with otherwise bad politics so I think Platner fits right in.

Sounds very cool. One of my favourite aspects of Stellaris is that it is really a sandbox game. If you enjoy roleplaying a specific faction or empire you can make it happen. The game has a ton of different origins some of which change the opening of the game quite drastically. Also, the RNG nature of the game can give each run a different feel. Ascension perks are really cool my favourite playstyle is psionic. (Even if it isnt the strongest atm but I dont play Stellaris to win)

Yeah It starts simple but the more you unlock the wilder it gets.

Its fun. I think the devs did it again where they created a really fun gameplay loop.

I just finished Queen of Knives a Warhammer 40k novel. Without spoiling much its about Dark Eldar.
