As a novice in Linux. If you have a gaming mouse from a big brand like say Razer/Logitech etc. and you want software for those that exists and works pretty straightforward. From my experience. Literally using a razer mouse on mint right now with software that lets me see my battery level and set the dpi of the mouse.
Generally speaking. I think if someone wants to try Linux they should go for it. But even watching a 10minute vid on how to go about it is probably gonna help a lot of folks. (As someone who is currently using Mint which is like babbys first distro)

Heya I remember playing this ages ago. I think It got some updates since then. I didnt play it that much but I enjoyed what I played of it.
Its one of the cases where a game absolutely lives up to the Hype.
I did agree that Baldurs Gate 3 lived up to the hype back when it released and was deserving of goty and from the outside it seemed a similar situation with Expedition 33.
I havent played Expedition 33 and im not in a hurry to do so. The general reception seemed very positive though. Im curious what would be deserving of GOTY in your opinion ?
Like the only real contenders I could think of that seemed to have somewhat similar reach would be Silksong or Kingdom Come deliverance 2 (which to be fair got both nominated) but I cant comment on either since I havent played them.
This is not me saying E33 has to be GOTY Im just curious what or which titles you have played 2025 that you would consider on that level .
Im currently testing my new CPU (on Mint btw) Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8 Core and Im seeing frame rates that used to only be spoken of in legends of the old ones

Oh yeah Firewatch was super chill . The game kept me guessing for a bit which direction it was gonna take.
My fave 2 game lengths are sub 10h . Or basically an infinite game.
Lemme explain. A sub 10h game is simple, something like Dispatch you can play through in less or at most 10h.
An infinite game is something with no classical story arc in which you play self contained runs or campaigns. So something like Dwarf Fortress, Total War or Crusader Kings.
Now I do play classical games that are longer than 10h but it usually needs to be in a gerne or setting I really enjoy.
I gave him 2 vials (which is the funniest and therefore best choice) but in my case invisigal killed shroud (that was a suprise huh).
Overall I really liked the game. Was one of my favourite narrative games this year and I cant wait to play whatever the devs do next.

Elitists ABSOLUTELY exist in Linux spaces as do chuds and worse people. With that said almost all my interactions with Linux users have been very pleasant so far.
