He was the Senate Majority Whip and did not do anything within his power to enact any meaningful change, and there is nothing in the article about any other liberals joining him. I’m aware that liberals are nationalists who only care about very specific glorious American lives, but that isn’t the point we are discussing here. Some of us care when innocent people are killed regardless of what citizenship they have.
