We didn’t give up on it, business decided we should give up on it, or rather they decided to stop pretending like they cared. We’re out here sorting our garbage and picking up after ourselves meanwhile they’re shitting all over the planet, what do.
Instead we should be physically destroying this system, but even the most outspoken of us won’t give up our comforts. We’re the problem just not in the way people are quick to disagree with.
