America elected him twice. That says something right there.

This second round they are stripping away freedoms and rights yet the non-pro Trump people are just rolling over and letting it happen.

      I think America wants this.

Yes, it says that the US is not as democratic as it pretends.

Because he lost the popular vote. Both times.

And yet Americans have managed to elect the absolutely least suitable person on earth as their president. Twice.

It’s literally his job to speak for all Americans.

Those Americans who disagree need to work much harder harder to fix the problems of their country which allowed him to become the leader (twice).

Since when has Trump EVER been good at ANY job?

Again, he does not speak for all Americans. Period.

I never claimed he was good at it. Just that speaking for America is the presidents job.

Yes, a job that he is doing poorly at, but it’s what you lot elected him (twice) to do.

Again, no. No it is not. He was not elected by the people. Do you not know how elections function in the US? You reek of prideful ignorance. Meaning, you sound American.

              sigh

He was elected by the system that the USA uses to choose their leaders.

Regardless of how flawed that system is, he was chosen by the system of that country to be it’s leader.

              you sound American.

So now you’re just insulting me.

Yea, the system elected him. Not all Americans.

Interesting how you cannot separate the two. Are you the kind of person to blame every single Russian for Putin? Every Chinese person for Xi? Everyone in the Philipines responsible for Duterte?

The list goes on… You blindly blaming the people for a problem that CLEARLY exists with systems and power structures is providing cover for how such people corrupt and take control. Your ignorance damages the world and helps only those in power retain control by dividing their opposition.

You have a shameful understanding of the world.

Sadly, as the president, he does speak for all the people of the US, Like Carney does for Canada or Doug Fraud does for Ontarians

        No, he doesn’t.

Representing a country DOES NOT EQUATE to representing every single person in said country. This is like saying Hitler represented every single German. It’s laughable.

When the American president says he wants to take Canada as the 51st state, we don’t look at it lightly.

When Trump and his administration trash talk Canada, it reflects on all of America. I personally hold all of America responsible.

He may not represent all US population views, tho when he SPEAKS he speaks for the US. How do we separate that? It sure seems when Doug put out that ad that ALL Ontarians and all Canadians were lumped into the same boat (all negotiations are OFF), even though no one outside Ontario COULD even vote for Doug. I didn’t vote for Doug, he doesn’t represent my views, but he speaks for Ontario… where I live

Unfortunately, that fact doesn’t prevent people from grouping and othering to feel superior. What xenophobia does to a mf.
