I use Obtainium to track open source apps from Github Gitlab Codeberg F droid repos etc, and download the proprietary apps I need from ApkMirror and ApkPure (two third party app stores that you can download to your phone or just use their website and sideload apks).
Of course, but Epic also doesn’t want that. They just wSnt that 30% cut gone, that’s exactly the only part they care about. In fact, epic of all companies loves locking people out of access. Sweeney is just pissed and throwing a tantrum and disguising it as a good thing. If he could have had this say “epic gets special treatment everyone gets fucked” he absolutely would have!

Good luck doing any of that on iOS.

point is it is possible and for a company as big as Epic it’s very easy to just say download the APK from our website
