      These kittens don’t look liquid enough, so probably not sedated.

      That you immediately jump to that negative conclusion, does indicate that there is a problem with you, but you can do something about it: be less bitter.

      Not saying you’re wrong, but do you have any reason or evidence you can cite as to why you believe this? Like, my two cats cuddle up in some remarkably goofy, and sometimes uncomfortable looking, positions. No sedatives required.

      My dad’s place has a lot of outdoor cats that love to do this and slight variations of it

      My favorite is when a third tries to fit when 2 are already chilling

      I’ve only got a few pictures (I don’t see him often), but it’s common enough to not suspect foul play

      They’re orphans too and one has cancer (and it’s whichever one you think would be sadder).
