Which is not something I’m going to do personally, but the information may benefit someone. I’m still torn between getting it on Steam or just Game Pass.

I can’t seem to find whether it will be Play Anywhere.

Skyrim has all the DLC, but only the Special Edition not the Anniversary Edition. Fallout 4 does not have the DLC. So I expect it won’t have the DLC.

I’d be tempted just to buy the game itself to have it separate from Game Pass but realistically as long as I have my Xbox I’ll probably keep my Game Pass subscription and $60 is a lot less than $170 haha…

That’s because there is no “complete” SKU of F4 in one package like the Skyrim sepcial edition. F4 Game of the Year just unlocks the game and season pass.

The GOTY edition does include all of the DLC though? I bought it on sale a few days ago as I never finished F4 and Far Harbour had really good reviews.

Yeah, but its not packed into one executable as the Skyrim Special Edition is, it comes with the season pass to give you rights to the DLC. I actually grabbed it on Steam myself after the Starfield reveal to get my Bethesda on.

Yeah, but I think they could still put it in Game Pass if they wanted to. I think in general Game Pass doesn’t include the DLC. I actually bought the DLC for Escape Academy as it was so fun so I guess it helps as a revenue stream for smaller games that without Game Pass probably wouldn’t get much exposure.

Oh, there’s definitely a way if MS wanted to. Clearly buy-ins to DLC are part of the Gamepass business model though. Especially now they’ve found some of the audience will pay for it even before the game drops on there like with Forza and Starfield.
