I’m surprised Datadog is that much of a money maker to be able to afford GitLab
Datadog is expensive for what they do.
GitLab has such a strong work from home culture that I wish more companies would adopt, I hope they don’t lose that if they’re sold.
There’s absolutely nothing preventing it
They’re also very open and transparent. Work, guidelines, workflows, etc.
It’s a shining example of an alternative kind of company, and it’s insightful and a great resource of information.
