Formula 1 supplier Pirelli says the impact on racing of a potential tyre warmer ban, with it potentially killing off the undercut, will be added factor in the final decision.

    What do you guys think? Do you believe the tyre warmer ban could have a negative impact on racing?

      I don’t think so. Indycar hasn’t used blankets in years and that racing is great. Even the cooler GPs would just require they keep the tires inside longer so they are room/garage temp at a minimum.

        Likewise f2, the difference between soft and hard tyres in their feature races is massive so it makes the decision making about what strategy to run, and when to run it, much bigger

        The current tyres are a massive problem in f1, I believe, have been since you started seeing the front running teams not needing to play the game with the others

      Initially, probably, but after some time the drivers will adapt. They are in F1 for a reason.
