The Adeptus Mechanicus is an entire human society where gender is just nonsense. Orks basically have one gender, which means they don’t really have a gender at all. Then there’s trans sisters of battle, Escher and Goliath doing gender shit, etc. etc.

The screnshot is from Age of Sigmar (GW’s high fantasy setting). Warhammer 40,000 is their sci-fi version. I think there’s several books with trans Sisters of Battle. Most Adeptus Mechanicus stuff has gender fuckery. They’re a religious cult who worship technology. It becomes their life goal to become as machine as possible. This ends up with a lot of AM characters becoming non-binary because they’ve been reduced to a brain in a jar with a robot body.
Necrons are a race of machines who were once mortal, organic beings. They experience a lot of dismorphia because they were turned into machines against their will. And when you’re a race of machines, gender ceases to exist.
Then there’s the ork who corrects a human for misgendering another ork, explaining that orks don’t really have genders or are just one gender. This story pissed off so many chuds lmao
To add to the Necrons as well is you have Necron Lords that are genderfluid and so commonly change it up every millennia or so, i.e. “I awoke from my most recent sleep program and I’m feeling like a woman for this cycle”.
