I had too come back and find this to say i kept laughing about not today black cheese most of the morning.
Now I’m going to giggle like a nitwit any time I see burnt stuff in my oven. I’m ruined.

The cleaning is difficult. Any tips to get it out?
Scrape the bulk of it and use a decent oven cleaner, allowing it to act for a few minutes and then it should only take a light scribing with some coarse steel wool.

Or just let it turn to charcoal through continuous oven use and then scrape it out
