But why is the 20 years ago picture Win 8 and the today picture is XP?
Thats not Windows 8. Windows 8 start menu was full screen and purplish.
Looks more like Windows 10 Mobile on a dock.

the background is the windows 10 default light through windows logo. The start menu is the same style as windows 10 mobile when using continuum.
